Meeting of Wine and Art

Founded in 1941, the Balbiano Winery has been a benchmark for the production of Freisa di Chieri for seventy-five years. Its range also includes all the typical wines of the province of Turin, making it the perfect setting for a convivial gathering with our most loyal clients—tasting fine wines, touring the cellars, and enjoying a street art exhibition by young artist Francesca Nigra.

The Wine & Art initiative also featured other emerging Turin artists in the unusual setting of a wine cellar. For three weekends, Villa Balbiano transformed into a large art gallery and a true creative workshop. The artists were invited to create live works on an extraordinary “canvas”: a three-liter double-magnum bottle of Freisa di Chieri “Vigna Villa della Regina” 2014.

In collaboration with the art collective Sketchmate, this event was a way to bring Art closer to wine and people.

Among the services I offer—working with prestigious external partners—is Art Advisory, which helps clients navigate the purchase and/or investment in works of art. Through market research and analysis, we guide clients on what and when to buy or sell, according to market opportunities.
