Safeguarding Wealth During Generational Transfer
Event – 13 June 2019
The historic Martini & Rossi villa, known as Casa Martini, is a cherished landmark, especially for those who share its local heritage.
Founded in 1863 in Pessione by Alessandro Martini and Luigi Rossi, the site was conceived as a true “home.”
Among its many rooms is the Martini Museum of the History of Enology, which houses a collection of over 600 artifacts of extraordinary value.
The museum originated from the private collection of Lando Rossi di Montelera, a grandson of founder Luigi Rossi, and was enriched and refined over the years.
Martini embodies a remarkable story of Italian entrepreneurship, typical of our social fabric where businesses are often family-run. It was in this iconic location that we chose to host the Fideuram event on Generational Wealth Transfer.
In Italy there are approximately 784,000 family-owned businesses, but according to Confindustria data, 33% of them do not survive the first generational transition, and the figure falls to 15% at the second. These numbers are far from encouraging, which is why we are committed to promoting financial literacy and helping to preserve this heritage and these enterprises.
The event featured a presentation by Dr. Alessandro Gallo of Value Strategie, who highlighted strategies for transferring financial, real-estate, and business assets.
Collaboration with specialized partners in different areas of wealth management is essential to finding effective solutions.
